My Friend Spring

Winter is finally a memory and spring has arrived in all her splendor! (Never mind that I had a bit of ice on my windshield yesterday morning, it wasn't enough to affect the newly leaf-adorned vines.) Flowers and trees are blooming, buds are breaking, and the whole world is coming back to life. Tiny foals, newborn goat kids and baby calves play in the pastures. The world is green and filled with the essence of spring. She smells sweeter than CoCo Chanel and is more lovely to look at than Monet's finest masterpiece.

Cellar Dweller wine club member Lyn imparted a pearl of wisdom over the busy, beautiful weekend: "I make the most of every beautiful day beginning early in the spring. I venture out to enjoy the sunshine and scenery from February through fall. It really makes the summer last so much longer." Great perspective, Lyn!
